Anti-adhesive membrane Interceed

Action:
Interceed reduces the formation of adhesions during gynecological, obstetric and surgical operations on the abdominal cavity. Interceed is placed dry on the damaged surface after thorough hemostasis and physically separates the injured surface during the period of reperitonealization. When used correctly, it is easy to apply and resolves within 4 weeks. The rate of resorption depends on a number of factors, including the size of the material used and the size of the damaged area. Interceed is chemically composed of oxidized regenerated cellulose, which does not significantly increase bacterial growth*.
Indications:
Interceed is used in open (laparotomy) surgical, gynecological and obstetric operations to reduce the frequency of postoperative adhesions.
Contraindications:
The use of Interceed is contraindicated in the presence of infections. Interceed is not used as a hemostatic agent.
Delivery form:
A package containing 10 sterile wipes measuring 7.5 x 10 cm
